About the maker: For more than 40 years, Homers has been crafting footwear that marries tradition and inventive design in the Spanish island of Menorca. They take pride in maintaining 100% of the fabrication in Menorca, employing 49 locals who specialize in delivering excellence to their part of the production chain. Each pair takes approximately 2 hours to produce and is passed through the many skilled hands at each step of the process, from the cutting, to sewing, assembly, finishing. They make shoes the old fashioned way (and the quality shows).
